Mr. Philip Owuredu speaking in an interview said "CalBank as an organization aims at extending our support to education and health as the two key things apart from our banking services, so anytime the opportunity comes we reach out to schools , we decided to establish a lab here so that the students in this community also have access to computers to learn because we all know that in this modern world computer is the basic thing we all should know to aid us do anything we want to do".

As part of effort to ensure that the new facility is well maintained, Mr. Philip Owuredu urged the school authorities and leadership in the community to adopt a proper maintenance culture to ensure the longevity of the facility to the benefit of the student and the community at large.

The CEO for Tech AiD - Mr. Kafui Prebbie indicated that, they were contracted by CalBank to set up the computer lab based on their recommendations to CalBank after their findings unveiled that, the students in the school had no practical touch when it comes to the study of ICT in the school.

He commended CalBank for their immediate action to release fund to provide the computer lab for the school

He said "As Tech Aid, we have helped set over hundred labs in many parts of Ghana , so we got in touch with CalBank that the kids here need computer lab to study and CalBank swiftly intervened and paid all the cost and we also worked on the project , Tech Aid is a technology company which basically help provide technology solutions to children".

"We have softwares specifically designed for children to learn from primary to junior high schools about ten years now this is what we do to support children, I will also appeal to the managers of the facility not to charge fees from any student who visit the facility rather the community led by the traditional authorities should sacrifice to pay the electricity bills for the children" he said.

The head master of the School, Mr. George Buadu assured the management and staff of CalBank for the maintenance of the facility and urged students to make good use of the facility since the facility didn't come on a silver platter after the only computer the teachers depend on to teach the children was stolen by thieves long time ago.

He stressed further that with the introduction of computer lab in the school , it will help the students to easily have access to the computers and broaden their ICT knowledge base from the primary level through to the junior high level.
