Rachel Appoh Honoured For Her Great Achievements By NDC Maryland

Former Deputy Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Rachel Appoh has been honoured by NDC Youth and Friends in Maryland, USA.

The group lauded the former NDC lawmaker who turned forty (40) on October 6, for her numerous achievements both within and outside of the party, and a successful elevation from a female student leader to mainstream politics.

A citation that accompanied the plaque given to the former NDC legislator further recognised her humanitarian activities in Ghana, detailing her accomplishments in politics and other spheres of life.

Acknowledging the citation, the former Gomoa Central NDC MP, in a post on her Facebook wall, expressed her gratitude to the group and promised to further use her God-given abilities to empower the youth in every capacity.

"What a surprise.....Thank you all for this beautiful Citation. I really appreciate you Maryland NDC and love ones.
My appreciation goes to all those who helped me achieve all these in my 20’s and 30’s. I am grown in wisdom, knowledge and intelligence now. Thank you God the father, the son and the Holy Spirit," the former deputy minister wrote.
