11 And Still Counting; B5 Plus Awarded For Its Investments & CSR Initiatives In 2022

B5 Plus Limited, the largest steel manufacturing company in Ghana has bagged eleven awards so far this year for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and investments.

At the recent GIPC awards, the company was ranked among the top hundred companies in the country and scooped the national brand's innovation and manufacturing brand of the year awards at the National Top Brands Awards.

It was named the best accounts and finance company of the year at the GAF Awards as well as the outstanding business in manufacturing and fabrication award at the just-ended ARCE Awards and the metal manufacturing company of the year at the Ghana international products awards.

At the ninth edition of the Iconic Iron and Steel Brand Awards, B5 Plus Limited was named one of the top made-in-Ghana iconic brands and the best manufacturing brand of the year in steel at the Ghana Corporate Brand Awards.

The Chief Executive officer of the company, Mukesh Thakwani was adjudged the winner in the category of Entrepreneurship and Nation Building Honour Award at the second edition of the National Governance and Business Leadership awards.

During this year’s Ghana Business Standard Awards, B5 Plus Limited came to the best steel manufacturing company of the year and clinched the company of the decade at the Governance and Business Leadership Awards.

Speaking to the media after winning all these awards, Mukesh Thakwani said, “B5 Plus keeps striving for the best and we very thankful to our client base and without them it will not be possible, B5 Plus believes in giving quality services of all the steel products to every Ghanaian and to the whole West Africa market.

“At B5 Plus, we have expanded our production facility, we are looking forward to having our products across all African markets”.

” We are very glad to receive different awards, it’s about our products award, National top brands, Corporate awards and we have received GIPC Club 100 award as well”.

He believes the awards will encourage them to work harder as the company target to take over the West African market as soon as possible.

He seized the opportunity to plead with Ghanaians to continue purchasing locally made products, especially now that the cedi is rapidly falling against other major foreign currencies.

“Support made in Ghana, this is the time we are seeing that the foreign currency is really more important so how we can save the currency, so this is the best way that we all should support made in Ghana initiatives and believe in Ghana products, today we are ISO certified, CUC Net from Germany and a host of others which shows that as for quality we don’t compliance and we deliver the best”, he added…
