The former National Vice Chairman of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Said Sinare, visited the 2020 running mate of the NDC on Monday in her office.

In a statement posted on his official Facebook page, the outspoken NDC bigwig indicated that his visit is meant to help the NDC return to power in 2025 and rescue the suffering Ghanaians.

"Earlier today, I paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, our great party's 2020 running mate, in her office.

"There, we addressed our intentions to #RecoverGhana by returning His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and the great NDC to office, because Ghanaians can now agree that the country is in its worst state since its inception.

"The victory of the NDC is coming again #Sinare4Zongos," Sinare tweeted, sharing a photo of the two.

While he did not share details of the discussions, the founder of Sinare's Zongos for Mahama 2024 said they were centred on "plans to recover Ghana through Mahama."

The former vice National Chairman, Alhaji Said Sinare, said there was a need for a leadership change in 2024 to move the nation forward.

According to him, Ghana, more than ever before, needs a change of leadership to be saved from the unemployment, poverty, and economic woes confronting it under the Nana/Bawumia-led NPP government.

The former National Vice Chairman said, "Ghanaians can now agree that the country is in its worst state since its inception.
