Bole-Bamboi Youth Support Mahama Campaign With GHC20,000

A Bole-Bamboi youth group, led by its leader – Haruna Abdul Rafiu – has presented GHC20,000 in cash to the former president John Dramani Mahama, who is a presidential aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Julius Debrah, the former chief of staff, received the donation on behalf of Mahama on Thursday (23 February 2023).

The group said the gesture is to support the former president’s campaign ahead of the 2024 general election.

Rafiu assured Mahama, who is a native of Bole, that the youth in Bole-Bamboi will rally behind him to win the presidential election in 2024.

He said: “We are solidly behind you. If there is any role you want us to play, we will avail ourselves and do it to the best of our abilities.”

The group raised money among its members through voluntary contributions.

Debrah thanked the group for its support and encouraged members to pray for Mahama to regain power in 2024.

“I strongly believe that with your love shown and prayers, your brother will once again become the president of this republic,” Debrah said.
