Akufo-Addo's Gov't Is 'Visionless, Reckless, Clueless And Wasteful' - NDC

"We have a visionless, reckless, clueless and wasteful government," the largest opposition National Democratic Congress castigates President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Speaking at the NDC's 'True State of the Nation Address' held at the UPSA auditorium on Monday, March 20, the party's National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia raised a red flag over the Akufo-Addo administration as they sought to present the true state of Ghana's economy.

According to Mr. Asiedu Nketia, Ghanaians are living in the worst economic situation ever caused by President Nana Addo and his government.

"We have a visionless, reckless, clueless and wasteful government that has become impervious to advice and will attack anyone who dares to advise them including members of the diplomatic community . . . my brothers and sisters, we are all living the reality of the worst economic crises in our nation's history and there can be no denying of this."

He also blasted the President for refusing to heed the calls of some Ghanaians to stop the construction of the National Cathedral.

"We have a President who desecrates the holy name of God by claiming to be building a Cathedral to honour God only to engage in dishonourable acts of diversion, corruption, inflationary pricing and conflict of interest which has earned Ghana the dubious reputation of digging the world's most expensive pit worth over 58 million United States dollars," he stated.

The NDC was hopeful that Ghanaians will give them the nod to lead the nation since the ruling New Patriotic Party has failed them abysmally.
