The Pick-Up Vehicles Are 6, Not 100; They Were Not Bought Or Paid For By Bawumia — BMW

A pro-Bawumia group, BMW, has jumped to the defense of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia following the circulation of videos and pictures of branded-Bawumia pick-ups which has since gone viral on social media.

According to the publications sighted on social media, the Vice President has procured hundreds of Pick-Up vehicles branded with his photos for campaign purposes in his quest to lead the NPP in their presidential primaries.

But in a sharp rebuttal, the General Secretary of Bawumia Must Win (BMW), Sir Obama Pokuase says the publications are orchestrated by "perpetual critics and cynics" of Bawumia who aim to cause public disaffection for him.

In a press statement issued on Wednesday afternoon, the General Secretary stated that, "The vehicles (Pick-ups) in question were neither bought, branded and paid for by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia nor his campaign office."

He also debunked the assertion that the vehicles were in their hundreds, stating that, "The number of branded pick-ups are Six (6), and not One-hundred (100) as alleged and published by the NDC Member of Parliament for South Dayi, Hon. Rockson Dafeamekpor and his collaborators."
