Sparqyln Applauds Ghanaian Artists Managers For Their Immense Support In The Music

Popular Ghanaian musician, Sparqlyn, who is known in private life as Ahmmed Kanneh Larweh, has lauded artiste managers in Ghana for their contribution to the music industry in the last three decades.

Artist managers worldwide play a crucial role in helping musicians to navigate the complexities of the music industry, from negotiating contracts to arranging tours and handling marketing and publicity.

Without the support of talented and dedicated managers, many artists would struggle to achieve their full potential.

It's also worth noting that the music industry in Ghana has been thriving in recent years, with a growing number of talented musicians and a vibrant live music scene. This success is due in no small part to the hard work and dedication of managers and other industry professionals who are helping to shape the future of music in Ghana.

The likes of Richie, George Britton, Bullet, Bulldog, Emmanuel Sedo, Killbeatz, and the new crop of artiste managers have been doing the above and more diligently.

Against this backdrop, Sparqlyn, who was known as Kele when he was one of the members of the once vibrant music group, Dunsin, took to his social media platforms to applaud them and urge them to continue to do more for music talents.

The musician who was recently enstooled as the Noryam Matse of Manye Krobo spoke highly about the renowned media icon, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah popularly known as KKD, who discovered him and the other two members of the music group, Dunsin back in 2007.

Sparqlyn disclosed that based on the hard work of KKD when he was their manager, they were able to release their maiden album titled ‘Ɔyɛadeɛyie’ which had one of the songs which to date remains a very popular song in Ghana.

The entrepreneur went further to mention the name of the CEO of Excellence in Broadcasting Network, Bola Ray and hail him as well for all he did for them when he became their manager back in 2010 when they signed for Empire Entertainment.

Sparlqyn did not leave out the venerable Abraham Ohene Djan of OM Studios, who through his enviable experience in Ghana’s music space handled them from the year 2012 to the year 2014.

According to the crooner of ‘Your Body’ under the guidance of Abrahah Ohene Djan, they did marvelous work on the music scene in Ghana and dropped their album, ‘Yeko Ye Nim’, which had the hit single of the music group titled ‘Kwasima.’

In the year 2016, the trio signed a 2-year contract with Splash Music headed by Mr Osei Koranteng to release the hit singles “Falaa”, “Fefefe” and “I Go Marry You”.

Mr Koranteng became the last manager of their group before they decided to go their separate ways.
