Biden Says Debt Ceiling Deal Averted 'Economic Collapse'
President Joe Biden has said raising the US borrowing limit averted "economic collapse", in his first Oval Office address to the nation on Friday.
He signed the bill into law on Saturday after it cruised through Congress with bipartisan support.
