KFC Opens Its 33rd Branch In Kumasi, KNUST

Masco Foods, the franchise owner of KFC Ghana, owned and operated by the Mohinani Group of Companies has opened its 33rd Restaurant at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

The new addition which becomes the 4th store in Kumasi was unveiled with KFC’S brand-new fresh and crisp design which is optimized to ensure customer safety and seamless operations.

The new KFC KNUST store, located at the KNUST Commercial area on the same premises as the JP fuel station offers takeaway, dine in, drive-thru and delivery services. ongoing promos such us the beatbox club, feeli feeli bucket, streetwise and the new range of KFC’s refreshing Krushers can be accessed at the Campus location.

The Marketing Manager of Masco Foods,Chris Addo-sarkodie in a media interaction, stressed on the importance of the day, adding that the opening of KFC’s 33nd restaurant at KNUST was a response to the numerous calls and appeals by the University Community to KFC to open a convenient store closer, to enable them patronize quality and affordable meals which is a Hallmark of the KFC brand.

He said the new outlet, like the already existing ones, would provide quality service to its customers.

“Now, this is to you, Kumasi and the KNUST community, we know your standards and we are delighted to serve you. We will also not compromise on our standards and we pledge to give you the same value just as our services across Ghana and the world”.

Mr. Chris Addo was optimistic that the University Community and it’s environs stands to benefit from a high standard in the fast food industry in terms of the quality of food.

He acknowledged that although the journey had not always been smooth sailing, the hard work and dedication of the KFC team had taken the company through the tough times and therefore excited about the milestones the company has achieved so far.

He assured Ghanaians that KFC still had plans of expanding its brand across the country, adding that 2024 will see to more expansion and brand presence of the Company. According to him Masco foods(KFC) employs on the average 100 direct and indirect employees per each location and they expect this number to grow over the course of 2024 as the Company expands its operations across the 16 Regions of Ghana.

The Company currently has strong presence in eight (8) Regions of Ghana.

The Marketing Manager touched on some Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects undertaking by KFC in recent times. According to him ,the company through it’s “KFC Care” initiative provided 1000 meals to children in the Southern Volta enclave during the recent Volta lake spillage which has displaced a lot of residents in the lake’s catchment area.

He added that his outfit intends to provide food to 100 needy families during the yuletide through the ongoing “KFC bucket” promo, and therefore urged organizations and individuals to take the opportunity to link needy and distressed families to benefit from the giveaway by visiting the verified social media accounts of KFC to register for free food delivery.
