Kasoa Ritual Murder: Conduct Forensic Test On Exhibits To Verify My Innocence - Second Accuded Pleads With Court

The Second Accused in the ongoing Kasoa ritual murder has pleaded with the high court in Accra for the conduct of forensic test on the exhibits presented by the Prosecution as evidence.

This, according to him will show that, he did not play any role in the crime.

He made the plea when his lawyer Lawrence Boampong, holding brief for Martin Kpebu led him to conclude his evidence-in-chief to the court.

According to him, the tools which were presented to court as exhibits were already at the crime scene before the said incident.

He added that contrary to reports that they used those tools to murder the deceased, (Ismael Mensah Abdallah) he did not touch any of them.

The second accused also told the court that, the first accused mentioned him as an accomplice because they spent the night together prior to the incident and not because they did it together.

He further told the court that, parents of the first accused , (Kwame Nyarko and Emelia Donkor) influenced their son (first accused) to mention his name as his accomplice.

He added that, it is aslo false that he and the first accused called someone at Suhum for money rituals.

Two teenagers are currently standing before the High Court on Accra for the alleged murder of Ismael Mensah Abdallah in 2021.

The presiding Judge, Justice Lydia Osei-Marfo has adjourned the case to February 12 for continuation.
