Sonto 1 Foundation Donates to Accra Children Hospital

Sonto 1 Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization,has donated some items to the Princess Marie Louis Hospital ( children’s hospital ) malnutrition unit in Accra.

The items include diapers, baby wipes, mattresses, washing detergents, standing brooms, mops, buckets, milk powders, biscuits and undisclosed amount of money.

The Founder of Sonto 1 Foundation, Akua Sonto reiterated that children are gifts from God and need all the needed attention to put smiles on their faces and make their lives a better one by supporting them with the little we can.

The items were received on behalf of the Hospital by Dr. Maame Yaa Nyarko, Head of Facilities in supports of the upkeep of the children at the department.

She expressed her gratitude to the Sonto 1 Foundation for their unwavering support during such difficult times and appealed to individuals, institutions,among others  to come and help the hospital.

She emphasised  that, the hospital as a whole lacks infrastructure, chairs, Computers and other items for their day to day operation.

Mrs. Sandra Akua Koranteng, host of the Sonto Show and Founder of Sonto 1 Foundation identified the support for abandoned vulnerable children as one of the foundation’s major objectives.

She, therefore, promised to continue to support the socially disadvantaged and provide them with the necessary support to enable them live healthier lives.

Finally, she thanked her prime sponsor, Mr. George Asiedu, the team for their support in helping the needy.
