I Will Retire from Politics After Voting for Bawumia - Allotey Jacobs

Bernard Allotey Jacobs has announced his retirement from active politics.

The former Central Regional Chairman for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs has been professing his love and support for the Vice President and presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia; something that resulted in his suspension from his party.

Despite being suspended and he subsequently leaving the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs remains resolute in his conviction that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the right leader to move Ghana forward.

He, therefore, appeals to Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Bawumia during the December 7 polls to become Ghana's next President.

On Wednesday, June 19, Allotey Jacobs revealed to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's flagship programme "Kokrokoo" that he will officially retire from politics after December 7 stressing "I will retire from politics after voting for Bawumia...I will no longer be in active politics; I will also be off-air. I will go and attend to my piggery and other businesses".
