Renowned Ghanaian musician, Ofori Amponsah has disclosed a worthy information about his spiritual life, claiming he possesses the gift of prophecy.
In a recent interview on the Day show, the Otoolege hit-maker said the gift of prophecy helps him to see in the future, explaining that music has been a useful platform to manifest his God-given gift.
“It’s a gift and that was what I was doing in church before I became Ofori Amponsah. And for me, music was my platform. For example, I am in the studio and it came to me that in 2020 this will happen so I put it in the song because I don’t have a church.
“That’s actually my gift than even the music,” he added.
According to Ofori, his faith journey began long before his music career took off. He had been actively involved in church, singing, preaching, and leading worship. “Ofori Amponsah was already in church, singing in church before I became Ofori Amponsah. So, it’s not like I tried to give my life to Christ. I was already doing that,” he stated.
He explained that he took a break from music because he was going “wayward” and wanted to stay focused on his purpose.
“But that time I had my own challenges. I was doing this thing for a long time and I needed a break.
“I was like I needed to find myself again and I think the break was a very good thing for me because actually I was a bit going wayward until I just took a break and came back.
“Right now, I am successful than before, hundred times successful,” he stated.
