"GAMEs Peace Match Is A Cosmetic Agenda"

A member of Friends of Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings (FONKAR), Mr. Brogya Gyamfi has debunked a supposed unity match slated for July 1 between FONKAR and GAME describing the idea as funny and a cosmetic agenda. Mr. Gyamfi who denied having any knowledge of the proposed unity match expressed shock at the news saying he doubted if the people spear-heading the idea are committed to peace and unity in the NDC. GAME national or GAME at the regional level is not committed to peace and unity in the NDC. The motive behind this whole cosmetic agenda; I call it cosmetic because I know that deep down in their heart they are not committed to peace and unity. They are losing the region to Nana Konadu and they are well aware of that and so they are employing some other tactics in order to win sympathy from the people. How on earth can you start dismissing NDC members from their jobs because they belong to Nana Konadu and expect peace within the NDC when you have NPP people occupying positions here and there? When you are preaching father for all and you are victimizing and intimidating your own family members as the president said. According to Brogya, if members of GAME are really committed to peace and unity within the NDC, they should rather be concerned about re-constructing the former couples burnt Ridge residence and give them the recognized respect. They do not want peace and the NDC delegates know that they dont want peace. If they want peace and unity within the NDC they should put up the building of the former president. They should respect the former president as the founder of the NDC and unity and peace will prevail in the NDC. Mr. Gyamfi opined that it was no news in the NDC that GAME was not committed to peace and unity within the party and as such were employing the regional voting system, camping delegates, forcing people to put on t-shirts embossed with the presidents pictures as tactics to ensure victory in the July congress. Though he admitted that the move in itself was a laudable one, he said the actions of members of GAME did not show their desire for peace as they were portraying. Mr. Gyamfi challenged GAME to come out with activities they were engaged in that ensured peace in the NDC after congress adding NDC needs peace now not after congress. We need peace and unity today so nobody should be thinking that we will go to Sunyani and Sunyani will be the end of it all, no. Mr. Brogya Gyamfi added that the NDC had won power on its own in opposition and wondered why GAME had contacted the CPP, PNC and DFP for an alliance in 2012, should president Mills win the July congress asking if that was the kind of peace talk they (GAME) wanted.
