Gunman Shoots 5 At Son's Birthday

A MAN attending his son's eleventh birthday party at a roller rink shot dead five people including his wife, after a family row. He then turned the gun on himself after the spat at Forum Roller World roller rink in Grand Prairie, Texas. The victims were all adults and teenagers. Cops said the shootings took place at 7pm on Saturday night after he argued with his wife. k Police spokesman John Brimmer said: It was an argument. The shooter had gotten into here at a private birthday party. It escalated to the point where he pulled a gun and started shooting." Aaron Feldt of Grand Prairie told the Dallas Morning News he was across the street when he saw some of the victims run across the parking lot of the roller rink. "I saw family coming across the street looking panicked," Feldt said. "They had children along with some adults. You could tell there was a sense of urgency and panic in their eyes." Meanwhile nine people were wounded at a shooting at a teenage party after a fight erupted. A partygoer pulled out a handgun and fired shots in the house near Apopka in Florida. Police later stopped a car containing several teenagers, one of which was identified by witnesses as a suspect.
