The Dignifying Thing For Koku Anyidoho To Do Is To Resign Abu Jinapor

An aide to Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, Samuel Abu Jinapor has offered a word of advice to Director of Communications at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho; resign and save your dignity. According to him, the most dignifying thing Koku Anyidoho should have done in the face of the brouhaha surrounding President Mills token mansion was to resign. It is either Koku Anyidoho resigns or President Mills fires him because Ghanaians will find it difficult to believe him when he comes to give any information from the presidency," he said. The property, located near President Mills private residence at Spintex in Accra, generated controversy following media reports that the president is putting up a mansion, which later reports from the Director of Communication at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho suggested it was a token for the president from Regimanuel. Speaking on Asempa FMs Ekosii Sen program, Abu Jinapor insisted there is every indication that Koku Anyidoho got it wrong in his very first explanation and goofed seriously, hence he is not fit to head the communications directorate of the presidency. According to him, in any serious jurisdiction where the highest form of accountability is demanded, Koku Anyidoho would not have even been given the opportunity to hold a press conference to try and exonerate himself. I think the dignifying thing that he should have done by now is to resign and if he has not resigned, President Mills should be firing him by now because if he comes to tell Ghanaian people anything again, we will have to listen to him with double ears. In any serious jurisdiction, Anyidoho wouldnt have gotten the opportunity to hold that press conference. He would have resigned out rightly then maybe someone else holds the press conference to make clarifications. Koku Anyidoho got it wrong and on that premises, he has to resign so he needs to stop talking, he said.
