Lieutenant General Seretse Khama Ian Khama, President of the Republic of Botswana, arrived in Accra on Wednesday for a one-day official visit to Ghana.
President Khama, whose plane touched down at the Jubilee Terminal
of the Kotoka International Airport at about 0930 hours, is expected
to hold bilateral talks with President John Evans Atta Mills on ways
of strengthening relations and improving investments between the two
countries.
He was met on arrival by Dr Benjamin Kunbour, Minister of the
Interior, as well as officials of the Office of the President and the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was presented with a bouquet of flowers by Nyira Nsarko, a five-year-old pupil of Delight Academy at Adenta.
