Mills Is In Somebodys Pocket!

Mr. Ernest Owusu-Bempah, Director of Operations for Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (FONKAR) has said in an exclusive interview in the Daily Searchlight newspaper that the President, Professor John Evans Atta Mills is a weak leader who is in the pocket of some faceless people who are the true rulers of Ghana. He has stated that President Atta Mills cannot take very bold and decisive measures to make the lives of Ghanaians better as he promised in the round-up to the 2008 election. Mr. Owusu-Bempah said it is clear that this country lacks a sense of direction and things are not moving the way they ought to be under President Mills led National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration. He stated that the President has always claimed to be the leader that he has never been and has the least to show in terms of leadership skills as compared to previous heads of state. The President doesnt show any signs of leadership, his appointees behave anyhow and go scot free because he just cannot call them to order. The President doesnt see any need to fire his indecent and indiscipline appointees and that has given them the grounds to behave in the manner they are doing now. We did not see this kind of thing under Former President Rawlings or Former President Kufuor. Things were moving the way they ought to, he lamented. They very outspoken operations director of FONKAR believes some faceless persons are governing the country instead of President Mills and they keep doing unpardonable mistakes which is sinking this government and dragging the name of the NDC in the mud. The President has faceless bosses lurking in the dark who are the direct rulers of this country. It is clear and we know what is happening in the Castle. How can the President allow himself to be manipulated the way it is now, Owusu-Bempah asked. He said contrary to the position of government that the economy of this country is on the right track, Ghanaians cannot feel the truism of the situation. People are crying everyday of hunger, majority of the youth have no jobs to do and peoples lives keep on deteriorating by the day but the government insists the economy is moving in the right direction. This can never be true and the earlier they take steps to address these pertinent issues, the better it would be for us all in the NDC, Owusu Bempah charged.
