Sierra Leone confirmed Egypt�s elimination from the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations with a 2-1 win over the North Africans in Freetown on Saturday.
The Pharaohs, who have won the last three AFCON tournaments in succession, had already admitted defeat in their attempt to qualify for the finals in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea by picking a squad of youngsters, but their defeat in West Africa adds further pain to what has been a miserable qualification campaign.
