Wutah To Reunite After Two Years Split

Award winning hiplife group Wutah is to reunite after nearly two years of individual solo works. The group thrilled fans at KOD's celebration of "15 Years in Showbiz" at Rockstone's Office and dropped the hint. This follows behind the scenes moves culminating in a massive performance at Rockstones Office as part of activities marking K.O.Ds celebration. The group made up of Daniel Morris aka Risky or Wutah Kobby and Frank Osei aka Papa Virus or PV separated last year with stories to the effect that the split was due to problems amongst themselves and their management. Wutah PV in an interview with Hitz FM indicated that they havent agreed on anything yet but they are still a group. He added that they did not separate for good but only agreed to go their separate ways and work on their solo projects to broaden their fan base. PV noted that the general public should expect more performances from them as a Wutah on upcoming shows. Patrons who were present at the event on Wednesday were excited and amazed when the group performed together as if they hadnt even split. During their performance, Joy FMs Drive Time host Bola Ray asked the crowd if Wutah should regroup and this was met with a hearty affirmation from the patrons. Wutah then assured the crowd that they would definitely be doing shows as a group. There were performances from stars like Pat Thomas, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Okyeame Kwame, Trigmatic and many others. In attendance were a mix of celebrities including Samini, Ben Brako and international soccer star, Emmanuel Adebayor. Meanwhile their manager Kofi Okyere Darko aka KOD has expressed excitement at the groups decision to work together again. He says he has never been happy since the artistes went solo on their various projects but said he is glad to hear them say they will reunite. KOD managed Wutah until they went solo. Wutah has won several awards including High life Song of the year, Reggae Song of the year and PV personally won Best Male Vocal Performance at the 2010 Ghana Music Awards.
