The Deputy Minister for the Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing, Dr, Hannah Louisa Bissiw has finally picked her nomination forms which will allow her to contest in the upcoming NDC Parliamentary primaries at Tano South Constituency. Amidst allegations of corruption, calls for her dismissal, and doubts of competency, Dr. Hannah Bissiw has is poised to prove all critics and detractors wrong. As at now, the only known fierce competitor Dr. Hannah Bissiw will be facing will be a popular former Chairman for the Tano South Constituency of the NDC, Mrs. Bernice Azumah who has served for nine years in office. But notwithstanding this fact, the deputy minister has told the Republic newspaper about her readiness to contest for the parliamentary seat on the ticket of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) party and wrestle with the sitting opposition NPP MP, Hon. Adjei Yeboah. Hon. Hannah Bissiw informed us that, she is picking a nomination form with the aim of winning over all possible competitors and going ahead to contest for the parliamentary seat which currently belongs to the opposition party. She disclosed that it will be a bad idea for her to embark on rough campaigning or employ indiscipline campaign strategies that will disunite the party in the constituency even after the primaries. She observed that she believes in inter-politics and is well informed about the way to go about a decent campaign so as to avoid any problems or offending other contenders who may have the same ideology or ambition as hers. Dr. Hannah Bissiw made it known that she will hold a peaceful campaign free from insults, intimidations, abusive talks, unnecessary arguments and fights which will create wrong impression about her leadership qualities and capabilities. She noted that she is very much sure of securing victory over other contestants and will also do same in the parliamentary elections to be held next year. At her newly built party office for the Tano South Constituency located at Bechem where she went to pick her forms, Dr. Hannah Bissiw was accompanied by a large crowd of supporters, family relatives and friends. This she indicated was a surprise for her to have been received by that crowd as she had no idea of such a fun base coming out to support her which made her so much assured and convinced of a win.
