Another Nigerian Music Star Is Dead

Something drastic needs to be done to avert these deaths in Nigerias entertainment world. On the average, by the time one is buried, there are 2 or 3 waiting in the morgue. It was yet another sad day for the entertainment industry when the death of fast rising star, Obiajulu Nwaozor aka MC Loph of Osondi Owendi fame was reported on Wednesday. The talented musician, born Nwaozo Obiajulu, according to our source, died when he lost control of his Ford Durango SUV which he bought only a few weeks ago. The vehicle skidded off the road and somersaulted into a ditch. He died on the controversial Benin-Ore road before help could reach him. An unconfirmed report said his Abia state-born fiance, a medical practitioner, also died. Mc Loph, who shot into national prominence with the release of a remix of the late highlife legend, Osita Osadebes hit song Osondi Owendi, was on his way to Enugu State for his traditional wedding with his fiancee. Prior to his demise, the hardworking musician had recently finished recording a duet with Faze on a song titled I Know What The Girls Want. He had recently, in the words of a close aide, concluded talks with a prominent music video producer, Patrick Ellis, to begin shooting an accompanying video for the new single which is currently enjoying air play nationwide.
