Boakye-Yiadom Wants To Gatecrash Ghana's Nations Cup Squad

Ghana youth striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom is optimistic his goal scoring prowess at Sassuolo could end him a shock Nations Cup call-up. The 19-year-old scored his fourth goal of the campaign with the screamer in their 1-0 success over Grosseto with some excellent foot works. The former Ghana Under-20 marksman wants to continue with his impressive performances hoping he will catch the eyes of Serbian trainer Goran Stevanovic. It will be a dream to play for my country at the 2012 African Cup of Nations and thats why Im working so hard in my team Boakye-Yiadom said I believe the coach will expand his band of monitoring wide so that all will be given fair opportunity to impress him or otherwise I am happy with how am progressing at Sassuolo and I believe when I get the chance, I wont disappoint With Asamoah Gyan identified as the only out-an-out striker in the current set-up, the enterprising forward could be considered by Stevanovic. Boakye-Yiadom is owned by Genoa but has been sent to the second-tier league for more playing time.
