Leading events management and production company 233Connect is set to hit the Ghanaian airwaves with a new radio show. Called the �UK Chale Show�, and to be hosted by one of the leading comedians in the United Kingdom Eddie Kadi, with music provided by disc jockey extraordinaire Neptizzle, the pre-recorded weekly show, would soon debut on the Accra-based station. Airing on Saturdays between the hours of 10pm and 12am, the show, according to 233Connect, would effectively blend the very latest music genres from around the world including Funky House, Afrobeats, Bashment, Hip Hop and RnB, with subtle traces of comedy. Highlights would include mixes from Neptizzle, interviews with top UK, USA and Afrocaribean celebrities, first time plays, prank phone calls and a session for free style comedy by Kadi and his guests, among other exciting features. Commenting on their latest initiative, an official of 233Connect said the show�s target audience would �include both male and female, aged between 16 - 40. The listening audience will be the trendy, up-market individuals, who are quite knowledgeable about the different genres of music we aim to play on XFM. The show will keep the audience one step ahead of the music industry�. Both Kadi and Neptizzle, bring on board, years of industry experience, having held their own against some of the biggest names in their respective trades. Kadi, who has visited Ghana on countless occasions, and has an excellent rapport with international acts, is currently a presenter at the UK�s number one urban radio station CHOICE FM. �His understanding of the medium of radio, comedy and entertainment makes him the perfect choice for this show,� 233Connect has said. Neptizzle, who is largely credited for spearheading the growth of Afrobeat in the UK, would add some finesse to the show.
