Ghana Toughened By Gabon Test- Agyeman Badu

Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyeman Badu was left satisfied with the 2-1 win over Gabon in an exciting international friendly match on Tuesday night in Paris. The impressive enforcer continued with his fine form on international duty by getting the opener from the spot kick in the first half to send the team on their way to victory. The 2012 African Cup of Nations co-hosts Gabon equalized on the stroke of half time through striker Eric Moulongui. But Ghana stole victory on the depth of full-time after South-Korea based Derek Asamoah guided home a gliding corner-kick from winger Andre Ayew. The Udinese strongman was delighted with the victory and says it should serve as a morale booster in their quest to win next years competition. Its a good result for us and indeed a morale booster in our quest to win the title next year, Agyeman-Badu said We should take a lot of positives from this game because these are some of the countries that well be meeting in the tournament. Theyre a strong side and I believe they will do well in their group. But were determined to win the tournament and so we want to keep our cool and our focus.
