The Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jr. has called for the immediate dismissal of the Deputy Attorney General, Hon. Ebo Barton-Odro.
He has also called for the suspension of former A-G, Betty Mould-Iddrisu.
According to Mr Pratt, the Deputy A-G's persistent position that Government had no defence to the claim brought against it by Alfred Woyome is an indication that his judgment has been compromised.
Mr. Pratt wondered how the government legal advisor will win the current suit filed at the Commercial Court challenging the GH�58 million payment made to NDC financier Alfred Woyome when he had already declared the case as void.
�Why are you wasting our time in court if you don�t have a case?� Pratt asked concerning the A-G�s recent writ in court asking for a stay of execution of the judgment debt awarded to Woyome.
Contributing to discussions on Peace FM�s Kokrokoo Friday, also questioned why the Deputy Chief of Staff, Alex Segbefia and a member of the government's communication team, Benjamin Akyena Brentuo, have been stoutly defending Mr Woyome and thus sending conflicting signals of the President�s position on the matter.
�Does the Public Service Regulation�allow for this?...Even in Kweku Ananse�s land this sort of thing cannot happen," he said.
