Citi FM Concludes Health Lifestyle Promotion

Citi FMs two-week long Healthy Lifestyle Promotion ended on a pulsating note on Saturday, January 28, with an energetic aerobics session. The hour-long aerobics session dubbed the power session, came off simultaneously at Pippas Health Centres in two separate locations: Osu and East Legon. The power sessions which were coordinated by fitness instructors from Pippas gym, saw a selected number of the promotions followers performing a number of aerobic exercises side by side with staff and management of Citi FM. The sessions provided a befitting climax to the promotion which entailed a fortnight of hour-long discussions on a variety of health and lifestyle related topics on the Citi Breakfast Show. During the tenure of the promotion, a formidable assortment of health and lifestyle professionals were engaged by Citi Breakfast Show host, Bernard Avle on topics such as health and relationships, diabetes, stroke and heart diseases, sleep and sleep disorders and exercise and fitness among others. A recurrent theme that cut across the healthy lifestyle tips dispensed by the experts was the prime importance of developing a culture of constant exercise. The Power Session thus served as a platform to practicalise the advice that the health and lifestyle experts had prescribed. At Pippas gym in Osu, 40lucky listeners of the Healthy Lifestyle Promotion shared a vigorous yet fun-packed aerobics session with staff of Citi FM, including host of Brunch in the Citi and programs manager, Jessica Opare-Saforo, as well as broadcast journalist and host of the Friday edition of the Citi Breakfast Show, Philip Ashon. At the end of the session, many of the participants were seen interacting excitedly and some seized the opportunity to take pictures with staff of Citi FM. A similar scenario was replicated at the East Legon branch of the Pippas gym where over 30 followers of the promotion also panted their way through a vigorous hour of aerobics to a variety of upbeat azonto and pop rhythms. Present in their numbers and looking sporty were staff and management of Citi FM including the stations managing director, Samuel Atta-Mensah and marketing and sales manager, Nii Tettey-Attram. An excited participant, Divine from Abokobi stated that he never knew exercise could be so exciting. I cant thank Citi FM enough for such an educative and practical promotion. I am now resolved to make exercising on weekends part and parcel of my weekly routine, he stated.
