Nana Akufo-Addo To Speak On BBC�s 'Hard Talk'

The flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, is scheduled to deliver the 2012 Oppenheimer Lecture in London later today. The lecture, which will be the fourth of its series, is being organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Other African leaders including the President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf and the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame are among the speakers lined up for the event. In an interview with Citi News, the NPP�s Deputy Communications Director, Perry Okudzeto said Nana Akufo-Addo as part of his schedules in London will appear on the BBC talk show programme, Hard Talk. Mr. Okudzeto said: �Nana Addo in the company of the national chairman and his press secretary left Accra yesterday [Tuesday] for London. �Nana Addo is due to speak at the Oppenheimer lectures and would be the third African personality to speak at these lectures and he�s going to speak on Democracy in Africa and the Arab ring.� He added: �Nana Addo would be in London for the rest of the week and also be on Hard Talk, a popular BBC program in the UK, he�s due back early next week.�
