Expose Enemies Of The Nation - Minister

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Mr Mike Alan Hammah, has called on Ghanaians to expose people whose actions and behaviour seek to disturb the peaceful atmosphere prevailing in the country. Mr Hammah who is also Member of Parliament (MP) for Effutu, made the call at the dedication of the Saint Paul Methodist Church at Low Cost in Winneba on Saturday The Minister urged Ghanaians to support the government in its effort to sustain peace in the country and also prosecute the Better Ghana Agenda, and appealed to churches to partner the government to create an enabling environment in the country for development. The Most Rev. Professor Emmanuel Asante, Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana assisted by Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Kow Ghuuney, Bishop of Winneba Methodist Diocese, jointly inaugurated the church. The Presiding Bishop commended the Winneba Diocese for their immense contributions towards the growth of the Methodist Church in Ghana. The Most Rev. Asante, who is also the Chairman of the National Peace Council, appealed to politicians to stop the politics of insults since it did not help in deepening democracy. He said politicians should respect each others' views to ensure that the December elections were conducted in a manner that would sustain the peace the country was currently enjoying.
