Ghanaians Wallow In Poverty Nduom

THE FOUNDER and sole flag bearer aspirant of the newly formed Progressive Peoples Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has reiterated his commitment towards improving the livelihood of Ghanaians if given the nod to lead the country after this years general elections. In his view, the majority of Ghanaians are still not experiencing the Better Ghana Agenda as promised by the Mills-led government adding that most people living in deprived and rural communities are still living under poor conditions while a few in urban communities are able to make ends meet somehow. Dr. Nduoms observation comes at a time when only a few Ghanaians in and around the corridors of power are enjoying life to the maximum. Dr. Nduom known in recent times as Edwuma Wura was addressing enthusiastic party supporters and interim executives of the party at Bawku in the Upper East region. According to him, the PPP has come at a time when many Ghanaians are wondering which party can meet their aspirations and reduce their hardship saying the PPP is poised to change the fortunes of a larger number of Ghanaians, particularly the poor and vulnerable. Dr. Nduom promised that a PPP government will not pursue the winner takes and does all trend being practiced now. We will rather ensure that all Ghanaians irrespective of their ethnic group and political party affiliation are brought around the governing table to contribute their quota towards the national development, he said. Touching on education, the PPP leader promised Ghanaians his party will ensure that every child is nurtured through school pointing out that his party has plans of establishing schools with enough teaching and learning facilities to end the continuous decline in academic performance in the country.
