Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs has advised the Akufo-Addo led government to set right its priorities to avoid going in for more loans.
He said instead of rejecting uncompleted projects of previous governments and starting new ones, the ruling government must put politics aside and complete those ones to save cost.
Speaking on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' programme, Allotey Jacobs said "we must set our priorities right; we must examine what makes us go for such loans so that we can avoid going back and forth."
According to him, if the country "fails to set its priorities right" we are more likely to go in for more loans; "we will go to IMF and pull out; go and pull out again".

In short, Mahama did not set his priorities right, so we ended up at the IMF
If NDC had listened to such laudable advice from some Ghanaians, we would have been better off.
