A mid- year budget review and a supplementary budget, was today presented to parliament by Finance Minister, Seth Terkper. To help run programmes and policies for the rest of the year, 2016, government, after carefully revising the 2016 budget has asked Parliament to approve Ghc1.8 billion.
During the Finance Minister’s presentation, he touched on target government has set for the macro-economic sector and revealed that huge shortfalls in revenue generation has necessitated government’s plea for more cash to invest in other key sectors of the economy.
