Ho West is a constituency in the Volta Region of Ghana with a population of over 90,000 and it’s considered a stronghold for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The opposition NDC has held on to power in the constituency for years as efforts for the NPP to take over have proved futile.
According to 1996 to 2016 election statistics, the NDC consecutively wins both presidential and parliamentary elections with a huge margin.
The incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzra has been on the seat since 2008 and he is seeking reelection.
