The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released provisional results of 146,887 candidates who took the November/December 2013 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
A press release signed and issued by the Principal Public Affairs Officer of WAEC, Mrs Agnes Teye-Cudjoe, said 797 candidates had their results withheld.
The affected candidates were allegedly involved in various examination malpractices.
It said the withheld results would be released as soon as the Council concluded its investigations.
