Some students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism(GIJ) went on demonstration to protest a decision by the school's Management.
The Management on Monday, March 22, held a meeting and decided the students who paid their fees after registration deadline to defer their programme.
The students resented the decision stating they are unfairly treated and asked the Management to rescind their decision.
Reacting to the issue on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Opanyin Agyekum pleaded with the Management to hold talks with the students to resolve the conflict.
"My prayer is that the school Management must meet with the students to resolve the issue. However, a striking feature about students is that they joke with deadline . . . The best academic is the one who respects deadlines," he said.
