The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has indicated its readiness to comply with the court�s ruling the payment schedule on their conversion difference outlined by government.
The Financial Division of the Fast Track High Court on Wednesday issued a one-week ultimatum to the National Labour Commission (NLC), the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) and the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) to agree on a payment schedule for the doctors.
Speaking to Citi News, the General Secretary for the GMA, Dr Frank Serebour stated that the GMA has written a letter to the FWSC in a bid to start negotiations.
He indicated that they are yet to receive a response from the FWSC.
�We don�t have an issue complying with the order. We have already complied� he said.
He added that they have resumed work.
�We don�t have any problem it is up to government to abide by its part of the bargain� he added.
