The Nzema Association of the United Kingdom and Ireland, has presented medical equipment worth, 2000 pounds to some health centres in the Nzema area of the Western Region to support quality health care delivery.
The items included 51 blood pressure monitors, six wheel chairs and 30 bed sheets for Hospitals and Health centres in Evalue -Ellembele and Jomoro districts of the Region.
Mr Isaac Anaman, Chairman of the Association who handed over the items to Nana Ntim Adjei, Administrator of the Axim Hospital at the Axim community centre, said the Association would continue to identify areas of need within Nzema, and provide the necessary assistance.

Mr. Adjei expressed gratitude to the Association for the gesture, and called on other benevolent institutions to assist the hospital.
