Muslims in Ghana are today celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr to mark the end of the Holy month of Ramadan.
Eid, which is a religious ceremony, marks the end of the Islamic month of fasting.
Although the exact date of the celebration varies in localities, it is generally celebrated on the same day as Saudi Arabia.
Various congregations will converge on different location to say the Islamic prayer, known as Salat.
The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharabutu will lead the main prayers at the Independence Square in Accra.
The Ahmaddiya Muslim Mission will hold theirs at Ashongman.
Regional Chief Imams and leaders of all Muslim sects will lead congregational prayers nationwide.
