Former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi has broken his silence over investigations by undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas that incriminated him.
Kwesi Nyantakyi was caught in the investigative video dubbed "Number 12: When Misconduct And Greed Becomes A Norm"; engaging in some shady deals with an undercover Arab business mogul, and has since been stripped of his positions both locally and internationally.
He was also recently invited by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service over the murder of a member of Anas' Tiger Eye Private Investigative team, Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
Ahmed Hussein-Suale was shot dead by some faceless assailants on his way home on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
Addressing all issues regarding his involvement in the football scandal and the murder of Ahmed, Kwesi Nyantakyi bemoaned the approach used by Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI to "trap" him.
To him, Anas didn't give him a fair treatment because he was deceived and later filmed for public disgrace.
Kwesi Nyantakyi, speaking in an interview on Oman FM, likened Anas and his team to a terrorist group saying he doesn't meet his victims but will later lay claim of an investigation about them.
The former GFA Boss disclosed that there was never a single moment that he ever met Anas or any member of his investigative team.
The only person he had encounters with was the late Ahmed Hussein-Suale who he described as "sly as a fox".
He told the host that though he met Ahmed on several occasions, "when he comes, he is so jittery. In a moment, he receives a call. When he is with you, within 1 hour (no, it doesn’t take one hour); it’s rather a maximum of about 30 minutes or 45 minutes, he will receive about 10 to 20 calls. He has ear phones. He has some wires connected inside his dress all over but it never occurred to me on any single occasion that he was engage in this espionage work.”
He stated emphatically that Anas behaves like ISIS.
" . . You don’t meet him. You meet only one person", he explained, adding that "the kind of work he (Anas) does, he behaves like ISIS. I met only Ahmed. I never met Anas or any other person from his outfit and then at the end of their so-called investigations, Anas and Tiger Eye claimed responsibility for the outcome of the investigations. You don’t meet them. That’s how they do their work,” he narrated.
He recounted how Anas entrapped him saying “Tiger Eye is a criminal organization. They don’t have a license to do what they’re doing. They are not licensed to do what they’re doing. And they’re just on a wanton breakages or infringes of the law, get bouncing on people’s rights, recording them here and there and disgracing them here and there without recourse to any opportunity for them to be heard to defend themselves."

You still have mouth to talk.Greedy bastard,
only in Ghana would a person like nyantakyi be walking freely and talking. we say we do not like corruption, is it not the same evidence that Fifa used to sanction the man. Do the Ghanaians know the law than Fifa?
whatever we have to say can we do so decently? My decent question to KN: didn't you openly dare Ghanaians to provide evidence your FA was corrupt? Please KN, just avoid any more opening of your mouth on issues arising fro #12.
With due respect Mr. Nyantakye, you're not speaking with common logic! You're admitting to what the whole world saw in the #12 but your major problem is that Anas does not have license to do what he's doing?? Your second problem is that Anas himself did not come to you rather it was the late Ahmed who works for Tiger EPI??? Even one-month old babies know that if you want to catch a mouse that steals your meat everyday you lay a trap. You do not come stand at that particular point physically to catch the mouse. These are just basic principles in hunting. Are you not aware of this??????
you are shameful kofi. you wanted to take a about 20-25% of the contract sum. was it a trap? you were simply corrupt. the end justifies the means. we need to clean the system. please stop talking and lie low. chop the money you get small, small less you would sound like someone without brains
It is time people started to question the motives and mental status of Ken Agyepong. Is it not strange the way the man is conducting himself these days?He is seen on video telling some journalist that he is richer than all American politicians except Bloomberg. Now what the hell is the meaning of that? The man is hell bent on destroying the credibility of Anas .Why?Is he involved in something that he fears Anas will expose? How can Ghanaians believe that the current IGP was appointed by Anas? Can a normal thinking person make such an assertion. So if what he says is true what does that say about the president who is supposed to be the appointing authority? This guy is a mad dog that must be put down or he will destroy the party we are all hoping will set Ghana on the road to development. As for Nyantakyie he actually believes he has been given a life line by this windbag of an MP. If he has a pair of solid balls between his legs he should take Anas to court.
Must you see the CID boss or the IGP when they are investigating you? save the little respect left and keep it on the low
Somebody should tell Nyantekyi that we don't need license to arrest thi*eves. If he was not a thie*f nothing would have trapped him. He should shut the F**k up and wallow in his disgrace. If he was behind the killing, he should get ready to sink further.
are you sure it's only Ken that's not happy about what Anas did to Nyantakyi and other people including the judges? I can assure you that there are many people out there who are not happy about the way Anas works. he has succeeded to cajole certain people including journalists to believe that those raising issues about his ***barred word*** minded work are fighting journalism bad anti-corruption fighters, which is not true. it's clear about 96% of those who support Anas don't really know the exact motive of him. he has blackmailed so many people in authority both in previous govt and the current one as well as security agencies and so they are afraid to whip the crack on him. see Kwaku baako reply to Rev Owusu bempa; 'we ll put him on a radar' but he has to be smart and know that not all the time that you can ***barred word*** all the people! once there's natural justice, no one can permanently hides evil activities. if you tell the whole world that someone has received a gifty (simulated one) and it's a crime or bad and indeed if you take moneys from other people as bribe then you're downfall will be worst. Anas is in his way to disgrace and the only think that can save him is repentance and confession else gradually he ll be exposed fully and disgraced big time.
Anas u see where your fuulishness is leading you to? How is it that a common journalist like you moves around with land guards and unprofessional police men. Such a con man like you , the whole police service allow you conduct vetting for them to elect an igp? That is why we have police all around taking bribes with no shame. You trap people why are u satan? U don’t do an intelligent work your sole aim has always been the pull him down mentality not to wipe out crime. Silly ***barred word*** next time when u come out with another material add the unedited parts. Abooooooaaaaaaba. You no hero mutherfacker
