Rebecca Quayson, sister of Ruth Love Quayson, one of the kidnapped Takoradi girls, says the families will only believe the teenagers have been rescued only when they set their eyes on them.
Her comment comes after the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Boss, COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah asked the families to stop granting interviews to the media concerning the case.
But, she said they cannot ‘stop talking’ when their daughters have gone missing for almost a year with no signs of ‘seeing them again’.
She told NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ that, “my mother is going mad and we are worried. The best medicine for her is for her to see her daughter.”
Between August of 2018 and January 2019, there have been a number of kidnappings which has generated operation #BringBackOurTaadiGirls on Social media.
