The headmaster and some students of the Evangelical Presbyterian Senior High School in the Northern Region are reported to have been assaulted by residents of the community where the school is located.
An eyewitness who recounted the incident to Citi News indicated that the attacks were triggered by the school authority�s attempt to stop people from loitering on the campus.
According to a teacher in the school who only identified himself as Solomon, the Headmaster was rescued by a Police Rapid Response Team.
He said some of the students fled campus into neighboring communities.
Mr. Solomon told Citi News, there was heavy security presence on the campus.
