The load-shedding programme that lasted close to one year due to the damage to the West African Gas Pipeline is back, TV3 News has gathered.
The situation is as a result of the unavailability of gas for the West Africa Gas Pipeline project, TV3s Sandra Amarquaye stated.
She told TV3 News that the load shedding exercise began Friday, January 10, 2014. It is unclear when it will end, Sandra Amarquaye adds.
The country was plunged into a load-shedding programme from August, 2012 to July, 2013 after a gas pipeline was tampered with by pirates in the Gulf of Guinea.
