The vigilance of a security man saved the Tema Community One market from a fire outbreak in the early hours of Wednesday.
The heroic feat however did not save a stall full of corn and cassava dough and a Bible from the blazing fire, which started around 0300 hours.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Madam 'Beautiful Try and See', the owner of the burnt stall, said the security man screamed for help while fighting the fire but when help came, the stall had been burnt down.
I was shocked when I heard from friends and family members that my stall was the only place which caught fire at the market in the early hours of Wednesday; I lost all my wares.
Cause of the fire is not yet known.
