A cameraman believed to be with the state broadcaster, Ghana Television (GTV) was heckled by a policeman when he tried to capture President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo singing the National anthem.
He was interrupted just when he thought he had perfectly positioned himself to capture the president singing the anthem before he enters parliament to present his first State of the Nation Address on Tuesday.
A scuffled ensued when the police officer tried to gently asked the cameraman move from his ‘perfect position’.
Not ready to move, the cameraman wrestled the police officer in front of the President, who was stiff, while the national anthem was being played.
The incident drew a lot of attention from onlookers at the venue.

This is simply a flagrant flaw in the security measures taken to protect the President. The police did wrong allowing this cameraman whatever his background and political affiliations this much close to the president. This horror breach calls for correction. Don't ever take chances with the security of the presidency!
This is how the Chechen leader was kill it was a camara man using ay fake camara which was a rocket properlla.and is head was smashed .
What does the camera man think he was and why did the police man wait till that time to stop the camera man. I am not surprised at the police because that is all they know. very unprofessional. He thinks he is collecting bribe from a taxi driver or trotro driver. The camera man the least talk about him the better. The way he stood even smacks of unprofessional, probable he never had any training just learnt on the job.
honestly, for a moment i thought the cameraman was a threat to the President.... if it were to a country like the United States or Russia, i believe the cameraman would have been forced down looking at his proximity to the President. the security of the President is more supreme than the cameraman and his close shots. the security guys around have to be queried... the cameraman was so ***barred word*** to even put his life at stake. in other places, a sniper would have taken him out..... one time...
Make no mistake this cameraman is Nana Addo's own Camera man who was with him during the campaign period. To hell with the policeman.
That guy intentionally did that, why becos watching video says it all why could he listern to also a state security officer as he to is working for the state as u claim u are just listening to him may be something terrible is coming to ur direction and he wanted to move u to a safer place u said no u not listen and if bad thing happened then we start blaming the security agency's. Is ***barred word*** must stop.U see what will happen to him after today if supervisor are in charge.
hahahhaahahahhhhha the banana republic of ghana. what kind of policeman is this? shieeeeee donno how to describe the cameraman. very shameful
unprofessional conduct of both men,but let us move on n learn from our mistakes
We know them more to come God bless Ghana.
Awuraba shut ur mouth if u get nothing sensible to say, why should we blame Nana Addo for this, immturity and illeteracy is making u comment without thinking, was it Nana Addo who trained the cameraman or what, what do u mean by he is bossy and proud, i blame the woman who gave birth to u for giving birth to an unthinkable being, no wonder men use u and dumb u. Grow up
