The Parliamentary Select Committee on Education has summoned both the Ministry of Education and the Polytechnic Teachers Association to
a meeting today.
The Ministry of Education and POTAG are expected to update the Committee on pending issues.
The Public Relations Director of the Ministry of Education, Paul Krampah in an interview with Radio Ghana said it is the hope of the Ministry that POTAG will call off its strike.
Meanwhile, the fate of POTAG's Strike and demands will be determined on
Monday 7th July, when the Human Rights Courts hearing the case brought
before it by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission gives its verdict.
POTAG President James Dugrah says they will abide by the court's
verdict.
He described assertions that the strike is premature as
unfortunate.
