The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the NDC, NEC on Tuesday decided to remove the clause in the Party's Constitution which has brought about disaffection leading to several court injunctions on some constituency conferences.
Sources close to the NEC after its meeting at the party's new headquarters in Accra told Radio Ghana they decided to seek out of court settlements to all the party's electoral cases to facilitate the holding of the constituency conferences and fix a date for the Regional and National Delegates Conferences.
A clause in the party's constitution makes it imperative for people seeking to hold Regional and National offices to have held constituency positions.
