Communications Director of the National Democratic Party [NDP], Ernest Owusu Bempah has described the Mahama-led government as a “joke” – believing that they are being tormented by the “gods”.
He explained that for a government to include a ‘comic politician’, Madam Akua Donkor to its delegation to Italy recently shows their unseriousness.
“Folks is this how John Mahama and his NDC has reduced Ghanaian politics to?” he questioned.
The flagbearer and founder of the Ghana Freedom Party [GFP], Akua Donkor was among the entourage of President John Mahama in Italy.
In photos released by the seat of government, Akua Donkor was seen with the president – indicating that she was officially invited.
She was spotted at the Ghana day at the Milan Expo 2015 and also at the Rodolfi Pomodoro a Parma Tomato Processing Plant.
The Minister for Trade & Industry Ekwow Spio Garbrah, Minister for Food & Agriculture, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey and the Secretary to the President, Ambassador Kwesi Quartey also accompanied the president during the visit to Italy.
On return, the farmer cum politician, Madam Akua Donkor has granted series of interviews to the local media telling how government will be investing in the country’s economy.
Her assertion has triggered Ernest Owusu Bempah to label the NDC as quipsters – “They can use such a political caricature Akua Donkor to spew lies and propaganda on TV3 about Prez business investment visit to Italy....when the gods want to destroy them they start with madness”.
“Bunch of jokers..... Akua Donkor explaining government policies to Ghanaians...ooohhh Ghana…I weep for Ghana,” he posted on Facebook.
