MP for Ketu South in the Volta Region, Fifi Kwetey has told his opponents in the upcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) primaries they are not likely to beat him because it is not time for them to be in Parliament.
Fifii Kwetey who is also the Minister for Agriculture made the comments at the launch of his campaign at Avoeme in Aflao.
He told the people of the Ketu South that they �have a golden future and from 2017 to 2020 is where you will see NDC has not left you behind�.
He said ongoing developments projects started by government in the region, especially in the Ketu South Municipality would soon be competed.
Present on the occasion was Deputy Communication Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Deputy Education Minister in charge of Tertiary Education, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and Roads and Transport Minister, Dzifa Attivor.
Kwakye Ofosu said the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is not likely to come to power anytime soon since the party has virtually collapsed.
�I am confident that come 2016, NPP will be defeated again. The NPP has become a party of confusion, violence,� he noted.
He said Ghanaians must retain the NDC for more development. He also asked the people of Ketu South to vote massively for Fifi Kwetey for development in the municipality.
The NDC primaries is slated for November 21.
