The Youth League of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) on Wednesday July 20, presented further evidence to the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) in connection with its petition for President John Mahama to be investigated for receiving a Ford Expedition gift from Burkinabe contractor, Djibril Kanazoe.
The move is in accordance with a directive from the Commission for the group to submit further and better particulars to substantiate conflict of interest allegations against the president.
The group said it is determined to pursue the case to its logical conclusion.
Mr Kanazoe allegedly got a series of contracts from the government of Ghana after parting with the car gift.
